I purchased Daudet's novel at a book-sale, and am evolving to realize it's significance. Thank you for this informative podcast. The book Sisters in Sin by Katie N Johnson and this site have been very enlightening!http://suehallgarth.com/willa-cather-edith-lewis-feminine-friendships-draft/

Thank you so much for the comment! I am glad you enjoyed it. When I read Daudet's novel it was really a mind-broadening experience, seeing exactly the points he was making and who he was trying to teach. Now I'm going to have to check out Johnson's book, because it does look fascinating, so thank you also for the suggestion.
